From what the documentation on my car it states new engine mounts, but im sure that meant OEM ones which the motor moves around quite a bit

I've heard varying stories about the poly, apparently there was at one time an option of different levels of hardness and the softer ones work well

I never had problems with my stock mounts and strap. Yeah its the cheap way out. But the car did run mid 10's, hit mid 1.4 60 foots, and no problems in that reguard.

I have the HRpartsNstuff poly mounts...some vibration but not enough to bother me...engine doesn't move

Poly mounts here too. Vibration who knows, who cares. If I wanted a Cadillac I would have bought one.;)

ain't that the truth...that's what I tell my wife whenever she gets in my TTA and complains about the harsh ride

Polyurethane Motor Mounts?????

Yes or No what do you guys run?

Hi YamikidR1,

Honestly, this is a no brainer. You own 1 of 1550 cars made! When you need to change a part you can use the latest technology has to offer, why half a** it? You need motor mounts, put the poly's in and be done with it. Your motor will set level, about 3/4" higher and will transfer all the torque it produces thru the drivetrain. Make your TTA yours. Check out Global West, Spohn and other inovator/vendors. Have fun! Build yor hot rod 1 piece at a time.
