I have removed/installed motors but they have always been the same. If a different motor was installed in a car how would it be mounted and leveled in the frame? Lets say the mounts don't work would I have to fab up some mounts? Then How would I know how high to make the mounts?

That is a very open ended question. I would suggest ordering a book on engine swaps from Jegs like this one: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stor...fier=&categoryId=24491&parentCategoryId=10705
There are so many variables that can affect how you mount the engine. If you have an idea let me know and I should be able to help get you going in the right direction. I have been involved with quite a few strange engine swaps over the years. V8 conversions, Ferrari twin turbos, Ford V6's into datsun pick-ups, Rolls Royce V-12's into boats, Rotary engines into trucks, SB Ford into RX-7, Twin turbo StageII into a kit car, 502 BBC into a Jaguar...................They are VERY challenging sometimes, but sometimes they go very well, or you can buy a ready made kit.
