In PA the course was free and I took it on a little 125 Suzuki and a 250 Honda Nighthawk. I had already been riding my SV650 for awhile so riding those little bikes was so easy. When you passed the course you automatically got your license. Not sure how it works everywhere else...

My best friends father was almost killed in an accident a year ago. Hes been riding for years. Rides the fully dressed big monsters. He was coming around a corner when a young kid on a crotch rocket was going too fast and ended up in his lane. They both hit each other nearly head on. Kid didn't make it. Bruce was lucky he was riding a big bike, and hes a big guy to boot. He was extremely lucky to have made it out like he did. He was back on his feet and back to work within a couple weeks. And, he now has a big Yamaha and hes out riding again. Knowing what he went through I didnt think he'd get back on one again. My best friend has dumped his R1 a few times doing stupid crap. After his dads accident, I think he learned better.

Hope u gave statement to Police? Otherwise it will look like the MC is at fault 4 being in the wrong lane at time of impact. People have a funny way of telling faily tales at the scene of accidents.
