Mounting a stacked plate cooler horizontal?

IS there anything wrong with mounting a B&M stacked plate cooler flat (horizontal)? My only concern with mounting this cooler flat is that the fluid has to be forced through it rather then gravity/forced fed down to the bottom...any validity to my thinking???
 
I think the idea is for air to flow past the plates to perform the cooling. Mounting it horizontal would reduce the surface area the air comes into contact with.

The pump should have no problem getting the fluid there and back no matter how you mount it.
 
It's mounted right above the IC scoop attached to the bumper...plenty of air blowing through there at speed.
 
I have no problem with my B&M cooler mounted flat.
The fan is set to kick on at 190 deg. It only kicks on right after a pass at the track, using the transbrake so it heats the fluid up quickly.
