We have a baby sitter for a bit today and we want to see a movie...i keep hearing that this movies blows,,but there really isnt anything else to see..

please give some recommendations ;);)

Want to see True Grit tomorrow but the wife is not a fan of Westerns. Going to the movies one way or another tomorrow and sure don't want to see Little Fokkers. Made the mistake of seeing Tron last week with my son, thumbs down from me, thumbs up from him.:)

The Tourist: I actually liked it!! It was fun and the obvious twist isn't obvious till pretty close to the end! They don't screw around long and get right into the point of the movie fairly quick. I don't know if I would pay theater prices (all theater movies are free here in Guantanamo Bay)..but I would def rent it or buy it for 15 or less!

Ok...took everyones advice and we seen True Grit, the wife actually liked it and doesnt really care for western..wife is like who is that guy,and i drew a black and we had to stay and watch the credits...etch this in your heads...Jeff Bridges...could remember his name for the life of me..

but have to say i enjoyed the movie..

I saw it.

It's ok--it's the kind of movie that's perfect for a $3-$5 show. I would be pissed if I had to pay $11 to see it however. The pacing is quite slow, the story is convoluted and cliche, and despite Angelina Jolie's BRILLIANT British accent, it's basically a wasted character. The thing I did like to a degree is how it felt like a throwback to the romantic mystery thrillers of the 1960's.
