I am looking to up grade my aero chambers for some better flowing mufflers will like to know who sell the best mufflers thanks for the help

Here is a great reference for 2.5" mufflers. Air flow is open pipe measurement, then muffler so % of the flow. (higher is better). Then look at sound level. Dynomax seem to be pretty dang good!

If you are looking to upgrade for performance I think you'll be wasting your money...Not saying Aerochambers are the best in the business, but based on your sig I don't think you will pick up any power.

you have a cutout per your sig just open your cutout to run it str8 downpipe when at track, thats if you think the exhaust is holding you back

I was just asking about the muffler because Friday I was at the track made a pass with the cutout closed and open when it was closed it made 22 psi next pass open it and the it went to 30 and I had to lift before something came apart

Something doesn't sound right!I would be looking for more than a muffler change.

The time in my sig is what I ran with the cutout closed and picked up 26 mph on the big end oh yeah I just welded my ps header up it was cracked do that have something to do with it

Holy moly...yeah I'd be thinking about some kind of change.

Totally normal. Mine does the same thing. 19-20 psi through mufflers (flowmasters) 25-26 psi with cut-out open.

I have a hooker system, when my car was stock turbo/intercooler/injectors their was no difference with cut out open or closed.Could it be the flowmasters??

magnaflow mufflers they are a straight through design kinda like the old atr mufflers but the magnaflows are louder. magnaflow are also stainless steel and only like $75 each

Yes it is my flowmasters causing my issues. I think they are the worst mufflers for our application but they sound amazing. Thats why i have the cut-out!

I put a set of Flowmasters on my car right after I bought it, and they killed it. 3 tenths slower. I put the Pypes kit on it, and picked up the lost 3 tenths and an additional 4 tenths. NO SH@#!:)

I have 2 new in the box RacePro mufflers from the Pypes kit. I went with Dynomax VT's. Let me know if you are interested.

Waist gate hole ported?

why would you gain boost or loose boost with or without exhaust something is wrong?

This can happen if the exhaust is too restrictive, I've just not seen it much with the hooker exhaust.
