Multi disc (PI) ?

Anyone heard of thouble with Precisions multi disc staying locked or so tight that the car will die when trans is engaged ?

Yes, more than once have had them do that.

First one was in 1999.

I sometimes wonder if that's why I have idle and low speed decel issues with my car.
It almost feels like the clutches are dragging the motor down.

Not sure why this got asked again so soon but I'll post the same thing I did in your other identical post.

"I have a 7 disc PI. Never had a problem with it "staying" locked, or not unlocking when commanded.

Russ just did a trans for a local guy here Tuesday... his car was the same way.. put it in Reverse or drive and the thing would die.. Car now has a "Pat's" in it .. works like a charm..

My Vigilante does the same thing. I always thought it was the smaller diameter converter. I just goose it a little before I put it in gear. Works great otherwise.
