I am get a SMC kit soon and I was wandering about the nozzles.

I know that duel nozzles are better than the singles, so what I was wanting to know is, has anyone tried installing more than two nozzles for a finer spray, I would think that six Aqua mist nozzles would really spray a super fine mist.

And also if the spray was fine enough could you mount the nozzles in the dog house and point tward the TB for more atomization. TIA

I think Joe Tripodi uses a 3 stage kit, not sure how many nozzles however.

Atomization is good and important as is volume and when it turns on with no drivability problems such as bogging or flooding.

I am going to try a small nozzle at a low turn on point of 8 psi. or so and then a larger one on a solenoid at about 13-15psi.

Might even go with a third nozzle at 22psi. or so with another solenoid.

I hate knock, especially transitional knock. :(

Come on guy's I know there are more opinons than this, help me out here, TIA

Agree with SalvageV6 the 2 stage is what you want to do. Two 1 mm Aquamist coming on at 5-8 psi, and two .8mm (or so) activating at 16-18 psi. 50-50 mix.
