Nice effort, but I don't like it. I'm not against hybrid engine swaps...but old school muscle like that deserves a big ol V8 of the same make.

That car was built ONLY for the 3 faster 3 furiouserer movie. It supposedly takes place in Japan this time and I think that is the "hero" car. I can only hope that the car was a 6 car to begin with or a total or something. I don't like seeing good, or rare, cars get cut up to make movie cars.

As long as they didn't make the body look like the rest of the cars they ruin for those movies, that is pretty sweet.

I'll never understand why a Buick guys don't respect imports.

You'd think being the outcast of the domestic world you would respect other small displacement turbo cars...

Here's a good reason I think MOST guys here don't respect imports. 1000+ horse ONLY 670 torque!!! . I don't disrespect imports, they have their place, but the place where MOST turbo buicks live isn't it. They don't usually perform running 1/4 mile at a time (I'm not saying they can't, I'm saying they usually don't).

As far as respecting imports, it has nothing to do with it. Even if they put in a SBC in that Mustang I still wouldn't like it. Would you put a SBC in a GN? A few have, but most probably would not.

That said, I'd LOVE to have a Supra TT so I can run 12s at 130 mph, lol.

By saying "ONLY" 670 ft lbs, I think it is safe to assume that your car makes well over that. I'd like to see some dyno sheets.

Has nothing to do with respect but somehow you have to throw in an attempted import bash.

While you say Supra's all run 12's @ 130mph, I have seen countless 10 second combo Buick's that couldn't get out of the 12's with John Force driving.

I was being serious when I said I'd love to have a Supra. I'm well aware of what a BPU'd Supra can do to a modded GN on the highway. I wouldn't get a Supra for drag racing....that's what my GN is for.

If I need to haul ass at over 130 safely, and stop and turn well while doing it...I'd take the Supra.

If you noticed I stressed MOST in my reply. I say that because I DO respect imports and actually find the import crowd usually quite helpfull in some situations, but you knew that.

The eng. they used is one of the best in the world! A STOCK BLOCK CAN TAKE 1000 HP NO PROBLEMS!!

Find me a v6 Buick motor that can do that please!!

I know that many dont like what I just said but its a fact that Import car eng. Like it or not are made 100 times better than any Domestic car made today or old.
Sad the US auto companys didnt take note back in the 80's. Just now have they started to build engs that can easily take more than 100,000 mile and keep going. HONDA and others have been building eng's that can take 200,000 or more and keep going since day 1!!!

Ok I love my Buick, and I would love to have many more of them, and I am not a big fan of Imports at all. (Please dont bash me this is just my .02) I did have a honda for Gas Milage since the prices went threw the roof!! (Sold it to buy my T-Type) NO REGRETS THERE!!

Now someone show me an American car that can make 300-400hp stock right off the show room floor and still get 35-42 Miles per gallon! The Nissin Skyline has done this for for over 20 years in Japan! The WRX dose it here int he states as do sevral others!
Thats a feet in its self and if you can not respect the fact that they do build some very very cool cars even if we dont get them in the USA than you need to have your head examined! BECAUSE THEY DO AND TRUE CAR GUYS KNOW THIS EVEN MY DAD DOSE!!! and HE IS 65!!
