Hello everyone my name is Justin, I'm a 19 year old Gbody fanatic with a passion for the cars.

I'm no stranger to the Gbody family of car just last year I purchased my first car a 1987 Cutlass. The car was fun for the summer and what not but I've always wanted a GN.. so just a few days ago I picked up a really really clean 1987 Turbo T with some decent mods and in very good shape.

The car has 168 000 KM's and had the engine rebuilt 20 00Km's ago by a Buick specailist in my area "National Performance - Ken Seggie" The car also has a rebuilt trans with a stage one shift kit a larger turbo and 43lb injectors a new fuelpump and a few other Buick go fast goodies.

Thanks everyone,

I've only got to drive the car one day.... All the rain had washed away the salt so I took her out the car ran perfectly.. very fast car I'm impressed with it very much. The best part is giving it alittel gas and letting the Turbo Flutter, It always makes people glance back.

But long and behold it started snowing the day after my test drive.. lifes tough lol

Welcome to the world of turbo buicks, you got yourself a very nice T and you just joined a fairly tightknit family of owners of these angry half dozens that draw attention anywhere in public.

The car show that was held here in the EL Paso horizon city border in Texas this past sunday was proof of that as i had my medium charcoal metallic 87 T console shift equipped with the rare factory cf5 power astroroof option as an entry and another forum member 1nastygn had his grand national there as well who i had the pleasure of not just meeting him for the first time but got to also talk with him a few times at the show. I even was given a business card with his number from him along with being told to message him on here.

We were on opposite ends of the parking lot area and alot of people walked around both our cars throughout the day, we were the only turbo buicks there. We garnered more attention than alot of the flashy painted up imports and flashy domestics with annoying sound systems, the nicely done up mustangs there had also gotten alot more attention than those bling mobiles.

Welcome to the world of also getting asked where ever you go about our 80's muscle cars and sometimes getting asked if you wanna sell. I hope you do get to enjoy your T when the weather is better your direction, there's alot of friendly and helpful people here on this forum so dont be afraid to post questions here if you need help with your turbo buick. Welcome to the turbo buick family and congrats on a nice find of one of the last muscle cars produced.
