My 87 GN is getting a repaint.

Ok guys,I need a lil help.When I got my car everything was painted the same color as the car,bumper strips, bezels,all moldings ect... My car is stripped down now,quarter glass out, bumpers off,all moldings gone(starting over).I want it to look original.Could someone tell me what ALL has to be flat black to match the NEW moldings? Grill,bezels,does the spoiler get painted with the car or is that flat also? ThanX

Are the door handles flat also? I have the trunk emblem location(1" in and 4 1/4" down) does anyone have the fender emblems and body side molding locations?ThanX

I think they are actually semi, but I could be wrong.

Your right,my buddy is doing it at his shop,I was talking to him last night and he said semi gloss,but after talking to his sherwin rep, he suggested that he paint the trim the same as the car,then use some kind of mattee clear coat only on the trim,then I guess reg clear on the car . I dont know anything about paint ,Im just sanding my AZZ off:biggrin: You ever hear anything like that?

I use satin finish for the trim (not glossy but not flat) just in the middle...
