So 2 weeks ago I see the weather forecast for the D/C area and then throw my stuff in my 90 Caddy Fleetwood, headed south. When I get near the Everglades, the digital speedometer occasionally goes to 0 and the engine skips at the same sime. I'm thinkin the speed sensor in the trans is going bad, even though in almost 20 years of turning wrenches, I have never seen one do this. Usually they leak fluid or stop working all together. And I replaced it 1.5 years ago, due to leakage. Then as I drive to the Key's it gets worse, even staying at 0 for many miles. I try to locate a sensor for replacement, but no luck. Then as I am driving north headed back, I noticed that it is doing it less. After I pass nothern Miami, it works fine, all the way back home. Then it dawns on me, I was in the friggin Bermuda Traingle! Did a bunch of research and it seems that the magnetic characteristics of the magnets in the sensor may have changed in the sensor while I was there. Wierd huh?

would have been very prosperous for you had you been teleported back in time with your car, can you imagine the amount of $ the auto makers would have offered you for your car,too bad you weren't in a t/r

Did some drinking, but no drinking and driving. Talking to an old Air Force pilot who flew bombers in 3 wars yesterday, he told me about planes losing instruments in the area. Lots of planes and ships went down there. Call it what you want.

YEAH I couldn't get wood when I was visiting bermuda :D:biggrin: Dats cause the wife wasnt puttn out

something is going on out there for sure, too many experiences from so many pilots, captains, etc. to be a fluke, man i love talking to vets about their combat experiences, books, TV and movies are nothing compared to hearing it from the actual combatant. glad i could make this my 100th post

There were 3 wars yesterday? Wow i gotta quit drinking.

Driving my boat across the gulf stream to the Bahamas, the compass started spinning all the way around at one point, and it wasn't really rough seas at all. I was like, wtf? Never saw it do it before or after that.

Well, physics is pretty FACTUAL based. Why hasnt anyone proved ANYTHIHNG about this area over the years. Yes, I am being serious.

It seems something that is OMG could be proven to be natural through PHYSICS ---

True, but just because something hasn't been proven doesn't mean you can disprove it.

True, we all have souls but you can't photograph it. I gotta get my ex wife a jet ski and have troll up and down that area till she's in some other dimension

Ive seen the speedo go wacko in a 92 Grand Prix.....sometimes at 20mph, it goes to 120 readout but i KNOW I did not more than 20mph since everyone were passing me that monent...other times, at highway speeds (keping up with trucks and the like) it would drop to 0....*shrugs* hell, the odometer went backwards then forwards over and over..never quite figured it out.traded it to a mechanic for a wagon that eventually died on me. anyways. apparently we need documentation of such events, heck i wish i recorded on camera what the damn speedo was doing since nobody believed me until they rode with me....the same car had no interior lights working cept for the dash's light...got a weird thing. good riddance. I remember when theres several theories on just how big the bermuda triangle is....some says as far as canary island, or the Azores off to the West of either Spain or West Africa area....others put it in a different form...still others put it in a roughly quadrilateral shape (it'd not be a triangle though..O.o)
