I bought this car in november with the intention of having another "toy" and doing a few mods here and there.. Found some rust in a few places and my anal side took over and said screw it, its all coming apart. I picked it up from NJ and drove it aprox 120 miles before i started disassembly. I have a long road ahead of me now.. plan is mid 10-sec show worthy with a little custom thrown in. the car is an 87 Vin7 with 140K. This is my first restore and i have car "knowledge" but not to this extent so this will definitely be a learning experience as well.

Good Luck!!! I am halfway thru my floors. My drivers side was exactly the same condition. I have to finish up welding new pan in.

Man I wish some of us had it this easy!! Kudos to you for fixing it before the rust eats it away

I think the rust on that driver side is from a hole under windshield?

yes there are a few holes around the winshield.. all being fixed.. i have been very busy with work and am packing for a vaction so havent had a chance to post more pics.. the pics so far are from 2-3 months ago.. the car is way past that stage now.i will post more when i get a free sec.

guys to change floors do you go from top or under:smile:

I cut out the bad section and butt welded it.When I`m finish it will look original
