lines are always disconnected at where the little plastic y connector is up under the turbo . i"ll hook them back up , then drive around for a few , and every time i look at them , the hose that comes out of the bottom of the turbo housing is disconnected at that y again . WHY is this happening ? does it mean that something is in need of replacing ? is there a way to check the boost controller on the valve cover , or the wastegate . theres 80,000 mi. on the car , its a 87 GN , and it prety much stock as far as the eye can see . is this a common problem when one of the system components fail or is it just my luck that its a problem to this vehicle only ? ? ?

The hose is just worn out. Replace the hose and spray the T with hair spray, connect the hose and use a zip tie to keep it on. All of the vacuum hoses should be zip tied. Hope this helps.

It's always a good idea to zip tie vacuum lines so they don't blow off under boost.
