After installing my new 62-65 dbl BB turbo, I realized that the stainless steel oil feed line that I got with it, stuck up enough that my turbo shield would not fit on. I had this made at Costa Mesa Hose near my work. We used the bottom half of the SS tube, with the top half being teflon wraped ss hose with a 90* fitting at the top. I had to tweak the 90* a little tighter for the turbo shield to clear. If I ever need to remove my turbo, I just undo the top 90* and swing it out of the way. I should never have to undo the PITA bottom fitting. Total cost for all stainless,+ welding = $65.00. Just thought I'd share.

Also, exhaust housing was painted two months ago with Eastwood cast iron color high temp grey. I've got about two hundred miles, and 20 dyno pulls on it. Still looks like new:) .

Happy spooling.

Looks good. I want to do something similar but bring the line in front of the turbo and incorporate an inline filter. What are the specs on the line? Did you make the water lines or are they a kit?

Not sure of the oil line specs. I can tell you that a 9/16" wrench fits on the braided line fittings, and a 1/2" fits on the fitting that got welded onto the hard line.

Water line and fittings were -6 "Shadow series" made by Mr. Gasket.
