Last weekend a friend, his dad, and I took our cars down to the spring Cruisin Ocean City event in Ocean City, MD. Tons of muscle cars and hot rods descend on the town and cruise up and down Coastal Hwy. There is also a parade on the board walk and multiple shows. There were a few other Buicks from MAGNA down there as well. Couple pics I took of the cars. My 87T, Friend's restored 84 hot air t-type, and his Father's 86 GN.

Short video of us cruising.

Picked up a set of nice T wheels from a member here and mounted up some new rubber. This will be my track setup. Michelin Defenders 215/65/15 up front, Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials 25560/15 out back.

Took the car to the Carlisle, PA GM Nationals this weekend. 45 Turbo Cars in all showed up and the weather was perfect. My car won Elite Award on Friday, chosen by Carlisle event staff and 3rd in Buick T-Type Modified which was participant judged. Couldn't be happier and had a great time with a great group of people.

congrats! Amazing looking car, and it sounds even better! I'm at the same stage you were when you began...First Turbo Buick and plenty of mechanical work needed

LOVE the plates, too

Took a big step and decided to put a FAST XFI system on the car. So much to learn, so many things that car be adjusted but I'm looking forward to learning how to tune. Also did some other updates I've been wanting to get done like a line lock, bigger shoes and aluminum drums in the rear, efan over ride switch, and angles IAC boss. During the tuning we discovered the converter is a bit tight and could use a restall. It made 396whp 402wtq on a conservative 93oct only tune (19 degrees timing, 19psi, 11.4 afr).

Nice write up! Got any pictures of the dash?

Have you had it at the strip yet?
Still haven't been to the track but now that the XFI is on I'll be running it within the next few weeks. Hoping for mid 11's at least. Have two pics from last year of the dash. Only thing that has changed is the scanmaster is gone because it won't work with XFI. I did recently add new engraved console plates from TR Custom Parts.

Good to see you running the car. That's why I bought mine.

I hope to be back at the track Sunday with a new converter. I'm way off your times so we'll see what happens sunday.

XFI log showed 19 psi and about 19 degrees timing. Car had the mph to go 11.7-11.8 as is. Trans was shifting a bit early too. With alky or race gas and more practice on my part it should go 11.50's or faster. Will have to wait until next spring to find out.
