My first WRX mod.

Well, I have been kinda getting into the WRX thing. I think I am going ricer. I was looking at boost controllers and bought blue neon washer jets instead J/K.

Anywho, I ripped the intake silencer out of the fender today and put it into the garage. NOW I can hear the turbo and BOV. Pretty cool. Not QUITE as good as the Regal, but definately a better daily driver. (And the company pays for it....)

And so it begins.

You should have seen the wife's face when I was laying in the driveway in 16 degree windchill weather with the tire off and the fender liner out of a car with 300 miles on it....

Excellent! I too installed a complete Turboback exhaust kit from turboxs. This has allowed the turbo to sing a little louder now.

Do you have a WRX? Why were you banned so quickly?

i was banned for ranting on my former roomates 99 inpreza with a :rollseyes: stage II vishnu turbo :rollseyes: . i also think they did not like the fact that when i posted about his blown HG (which i replaced with out as much as a thank you from that stupid SOB i used to live with) i used words like f that and f him f that pos car of his... he and that car single handedly (sp) turned me of of suburu for life!

then i made some comments about the over all suckieness of the scoobies, then made generalizations about the owners, started picking fights with the local owner.

it was justified but i did not expect it to be so fast.

i will go back one of these days and raise hell agian. i think my time out then banning has been lifted.

I love driving the STi .. talk about FUN .. WRX's are a cool ride as well .. I have the unfair advantage -- I work for Subie and get to drive them all the time -- I OWN a Legacy sedan for my everyday car but want an STi sometime in the future ... for mods on the WRX check out Easystreet Motorsports .. and Matrix ...
