rotomaster was and still is kinda wierd like that...... i dont think they have entirely shed there Carbon Seal roots by the way there designed, though they only offer dynamic seals today.....

but by the looks of the number you posted... its probably not a rotomaster wheel at all... but a garrett.

what are you running for a pressure ratio adam?

This turbo is a crazy mystery most of the time to me. I'm at 19-20psi or 1.4 bar(Is that right?). I don't really plan on turning it up anymore all my Iron is still stock.

well if your running 20 PSI then your around a 2.36 PR. ASSuming your wanting 400 hp that puts you in barely the 72% efficeincy range... more likely the 70% area... depending on how accurate this map is in comparison to what the wheel really flows for your turbo.

but you say you have seen this wheel pushed to 3 bar and it was still efficent? that sounds a little far for me.... I bet it will begin to really work at around 27 or 28 lbs. which is what? like 2 bar?

I think alot of the flow your geting is coming from your turbine side.... have you measured that? I bet its like a 301 wheel on a stage 2 turbine.....

I want to see that side now.

No it wasn't real efficient at 3.0 bar A.j. That compressor map I posted above is the only one I have seen for this wheel as of yet. The turbine wheel is stock LC2 the turbine housing is also, even the wastegate hole unported. I'm not taking the DP or turbo off anytime soon for pics, sooo sorry on that. I know there are some pics of the turbine side here:http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/members-rides-friends-family/278085-here-84-regal-thread.html

Well 1 bar is 14.5 PSI plus a little so if you're running 2 bar then you're at 29 PSI, right? A little high isn't it Adam?

That's a lot high Charlie.
No 2Bar, I'm running 20psi still with no plans to increase,

2 bar is 29 PSI Adam. If you're running 20 PSI then you're running 1.3 bar. 20 PSI isn't bad at all.

lol I know that's what I said: I'm NOT running at @ 2 BAR. I'm sure 20psi is all it can do without the WG hole and DP ported, the external wastegate valve is bigger than the hole in the turbine housing and the DP. I've given the MBC a few turns but the boost stayed the same. Course I asked about running only one port on a dual port external WG in the other thread.
