Wait til you see all the fittings i had to buy at home depot just to hook up a vacuum line to the wastegate.

Stainless will rust, just not as easily. High temperatures make it rust more easily. I have a set of factory with a surprising amount of surface rust.

Well i dont know much about welding, but i tried usibg my normal .024 mig wire and c25 gas, seems to have penetrated. I hope it lasts, i plan to modify the crossover pipe if its pulling or pushing on the headers which may be what causes them to crack?

Does anyone know why the headers crack?

Also, anyone know of what gaskets i should use? I need the gasket for the downpipe to turbo, the passenger header to up pipe, and it appears the up pipe to turbo is a metal ring type gasket? Are they reuseable?

I know even less, about either welding or why they crack.

This is an unknown party's work. I do hope yours looks better than this. It was so ugly I couldn't resist it. Just wallow in it. :D

So is yours a stock manifold?

I feel like they look exactly like my headers other than my flange is further down, like extended.

Makes me wonder if i should even install them or just pull off the driver, weld it up and re install it.
