now to decide what centercaps and style of lug nuts.... ohh the decisions in life.

the lip was machined then powder coated clear, while the rest of the rim was powdered black.

Those look greeeat!!!

What did it cost to get them refurbished? If you don't mind sharing. I plan on getting some, and doing away with my Pro Stars.

Thanks,
Ray

520.

but i sold them some extra random junk alloy wheels i had for 30 each.

and the only reason why i went through with getting them refurbished was i wanted to unload the random wheels i had collected over the years, and after talking to classic industries and finding out their wheels are on backorder(and have been for several months), but CI is right around 800 for a set.

and, i can say i have OEM wheels and not some cheap chinese repos.. who knows how strong they are. im going to try to go 1.4x 60s with mine and a radial.

I agree, I'd rather have 4 original GTA wheels than some cheap knock off ones. I believe Jack Evers in Arizona use to 60ft pretty good with them. I really liked his car due to being all black, def. has the cool factor with these rims at the track with slicks on them!

When I had mine redone like yours I put the original cap with a trisheild Buick logo form TR custom. Its a silver emblem so its not flashy nor does it stick out too much. It just accents the wheels.

If you don't mind my asking, is that 4 fronts? Does one need spacers for 4 front or do they just bolt on? Those look great.

rims

nice the shop did a great job on them for you i went with the black lug nut covers from the stealership i think they charge me around $20 bucks check out nos4gn.com they got good deals on the caps.

when i mine GTA wheels redone i also had them do the brushed/machined finich on the lips and it looks so much nicer.

I thEn capped it off with T-type center caps SEXY..............................

Who refinished them:):)

don't know where the classic industries wheels are made but the 15 sets of original gm gta wheels i have had both dimpled and non dimpled are all cast JAPAN on the back!!! so my guess is the originals are made in japan! don'y believe me take a look on the back in the center area

i think there is a difference between japanese quality stuff and chinese made crap.
