Anyone make a homemade system on an n/a car? If so problems,any info, would help. I'm thinking of doing one. ( im a noob when it comes to alcohol inj) Thanks

Put a turbo on it then.. crank the boost up.. then you'll need the alky

Alky stops detonation, doesnt make more power. you shouldnt have a detonation issue with an NA setup.. unless your compression is 13:1. At that point you need C16 gasoline.

Detonation=knock. Knock is what happens when you have too much compression and not enough octane in simple terms. This is why you dont run 40 PSI boost and 87 octane. Or you build the engine 13:1 compression and use 87 octane fuel.

WOW u r a newbie detonation is also known as spark knock ,or pre ignition its when your fuel and air being compressed in the cylinder gets ignited early by something other than the spark plug like a hot spot on the piston this hammers on the piston before the power stroke when ignition is supposed to happen this can cause major damage to a power adder engine because cylinder pressure is so high the only time this would be an issue on a n/a motor is if you had high compression like domed pistons.. two things that help stop detonation are higher octane or alky..in other words you putting alky in you regular n/a motor will have the same effect as putting race gas in it none..you wont make any more power youll be wastin money..hope this helps
