These LT5 Vettes were pretty good runners back in the day and even by today's standards they still hold their own pretty well.

I couldn't tell ya, don't know the guy. I seen one down here similar to this one that ran high 10's on motor but was a mid 9 sec car on laughing gas.

The guy said it was only at 5000 rpm, but man it almost sounds a tad bit higher.

Yeah, the LT5 is without a doubt one of the best V8's that GM ever built even though it was actually built by Mercury Marine and designed by Lotus. Best sounding factory V8 IMO.
