NEED ADVICE....Stuck valve cover!

Changing gaskets.........have driver side cover unbolted. But does not want come off. Almost feel like its welded on the head. Tugged....pulled...pryed....and yanked to no avail. Thought it would just lift off with simple lift. Any ideas????? THANKS

If all four bolts are out all you can do is pry it. Try smacking it with a rubber mallet

Agree with the soft mallet also round shank phillips down in the bolt hole and pry. Of course within reason as it is alum.
