I just finisheded my front end rebuild with all new bushing, springs, tie rods etc. I would like to get a good front end alignment but can't seem to find a shop. Anyone in the burbs of Chicago recommend a shop that will do it right and not scratch all the parts up in the process?

My plan B is to buy a camber/caster gauge and do it myself. I did some searching on this forum and there seems to be some different opionions if a front end alignment can realy be done at home.

do it at home.. you don't even need one of those caster/camber gauges..
it's easy to do if you know how to run a piece of string between 2 jackstands and how to use a framing square, tape measure, and magnetic angle finder...

do caster, then camber, then toe..

Novaderrik, I might give it a try without the gauge. I saw a few of your posts about alignments in other posts, I'll have to find them again and print them out, thanks.
