Hi ,Im putting my motor back together after its been apart for years and everything went well so far.Just cant figure out 2 connectors at front of motor.one is green 1 pin connector with 2 yellow wires ,the other is black 1 pin connector with green wire.they will plug into each other but they are from the same wiring harness so that wouldnt make sense.Any info as to what these are for is appreciated.Thanks.its a 1987 buick grand national.

Without a picture hard to say. It sounds like the fuel pump and tach test leads. Those are test connectors....they don't plug into anything....they're for test only. Are they located behind the alternator? If so...that's what they are.
