Hi! I just got back from the track. I did pretty good. My best time was a 13.1 at 106.5 MPH. The car has alot left in it. my 60 foot time was 2.19. I am using MT 28x9 slicks at this time. My question is I cant hold more than a few pounds of boost at the time. The rear brakes will not hold it. I have the S-10 wheel cylinders. Is there anything else i can do to allow the brakes to hold more boost at the line?? Thanks

You will need the two longer organic shoes in the rear also with those S-10 wheel cylinders

That's good mph and can be a mid 12 with a good launch and 60'. I use the same slicks. You can get the soft rear shoes from Cotton Performance, and be sure they are adjusted out against the drum. It will be hard to place the drum back on and you can "nicely";) use a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer.

Also a line lock helps since you will not heat up the rear brakes during the burnout, and can hold boost at the line. Boost up a few psi at the line, completely mash the gas, and quickly release the brake, and you will experience "the TR launch"
