i am changing injectors to 60lbs with new chip from turbo tweak. do i need to remove the clips that hold ijectors to rail or will it come out in one piece injectors and rail?

also i removed throttle body to clean and under iac there is a fitting with nothing connected to it any idea what this is? There is one not plugged and one plugged? thanks

injector removal

take the fuel rail and injectors out as a unit. its simpler that way.
I think the fitting was used as a preheater of the TB.
From what i have been told not many use it any more.
I hope this is of help.
thanks
Jim

+1 Comes out easier as one piece IMHO.

From the looks of the soot on the ft of the intake, and the crud in the plenum, I'd be taking a look at:
1. The EGR valve.
2. The gasket under the plenum.

lil wd40 @ bottom of injector (on intake)does wonders if there in there good

I wouldn't be suprised if some of the injectors stay stuck in the manifold.
