hey guys i have a we4 that needs rust repair and i only have 10,000 to work with when i get back from iraq let me give you guys the run down on the car its going to need a frame its rusted pretty bad the floor pans shot it needs doors and rear quarters the paint not the best in the world but hear the good news i just put a new motor in it and the trannys new plus its got the basic bolt ons please any advice would be great

Buy a regular regal in good shape and drop your drivetrain in it. There was one for sale in Arkansas this week for $500 that was supposedly solid. I'd say there are plenty similar in your area.

i would reccomend going to the local junk yard and picking up a set of doors and have a body shop do the rust repair and paint it will cost a good amount of money like ~4000 but if it is a good body shop it will be worth your while. trust me i did my car stripping it and doing bondo it is alot harder than what you think not to mention how long it will take you. if you have the time and patience than do it you will save a bunch of cash.

I hate to say it but it almost reads like the car is a basket case. To restore this thing properly will eat up that 10 grand and then some. Is it worth saving? It's up to you, but you will need a donor car in any case. John is right, a solid non-turbo body can be had for 500-1000 and from 84-87 all the sheetmetal andthe frame are a direct interchange. Good luck and come home safe and sound...

thanks guys for all the advice but i think im going to get a non turbo car for the body and frame and just build a really sweet ride thanks guys
