Not sure where to get Delco unit, but if you have your original why not take it to a radiator shop and have it re-cored? I had mine done years back and its worked just fine and I retained my original tanks.

It was cracked on both driver's and passenger's side. I had my Delco garage order me a replacement. For the price and install, I could have had a head gasket repaired. Great. Merry Christmas.

For almost 20 years we have supplied a high efficiency, 3 row radiator for the 1986-7 GN's that is a direct replacement. This core was developed years ago for dessert cooling and has proven to work as well as any radiator, including the alum ones.

With hundreds of them sold, there never has been any customer that has not been satisified with its performance. No adapters or mods are needed, and no worry about a plastic tank that can and will split, and it provides for both engine oil and trans coolers.

There are many choices for GN replacement radiators, and this is among the best. :)

We steered him into getting his radiator re-cored. Low mileage Buick & wanted the factory unit. The new AC delco units I steered him away from due to the fittings & adapters. If you want a factory GM radiator re-core is probablly as about the best you can get unless you find an old unit in a GM box.

Yeah, I spoke with Brian today and he suggested the re-core. The tech. called me today and siad that the radiator he ordered did not fit and he reordered another one but won't be here until monday. He said that if this didn't work the only thing he could do was to have my old one re-cored.

I have sold a lot of ac delco radiators. supplied from Gm & from AC delco. They are the same radiator. Not trying to ruin your Christmas. Nick's guy does the recores for us if you can't find some one local.

I might have an original one in great shape. I'll check and let you know. Unless you want a new one.
