need help identifying turbo

i have a turbo that i thought was a TA49 but i was told that because it had 7 blades rather then 6 it wasnt a 49...when i bought my car it had this turbo a inlet bell with no breather port bigger injectors and adj fpr, so im thinking these are the mods you need when upgrading turbo......so i found a a stock turbo off a t type to compare....the compresser wheel on my turbo is much bigger then the t types..so im sure although it looks stock it isnt....how can i go about finding out what turbo this is....any ideas to what it is...

Looks like a 60-1 compressor wheel so probably a TE60. The compressor doenst tell the whole story but its not a TA49.

Wouldn't it be a TA-6x since it has a stock appearing compressor housing?

Im not up on game when it comes different sizes of turbos so does this turbo appear to be larger then the TA49...and if it is, was my upgrade to the billet? 5557 worth it or not...I plan on futhur mods such as ported heads intake and cam

I'm not familiar with the 5557. The 5857 I've heard of though. I would change it over unless you're having a problem with the current one. The stickys at the top of the page may help you compare them also. How much boost are you using? Is it laggy or are you just looking for more power?

Im boostin 15 pounds as of now cause im running pump gas only im slowly buildin up my combo as I go...next on the list is akly I just want to make sure everything is in order and can handle the extra boost...the lag issue isn't really a problem I have I higher stall converter not stock...and yes I was lookin for more power I orginally thought the first turbo was stock but wanted something bigger then a 49 with future mods in mind so I choose the 5557
