Need Help! Oil Pressure Sensor!

I'm trying to install a VDO oil pressure gauge. Where is the oil pressure sensor on the engine? I can't seem to locate it.

Directly below the Turbo... look at the front face of the block to the left of the front cover... it is a brass distribution block.

I think I got it. It is just in front of the turbo oil line with three wire connectors on it?

That sounds like it. Are you going to "T" off that location, and keep the stock sensor as well as the sender for the oil pressure gauge? That is what I did, since the original sensor did more than just act as an oil pressure "idiot light". I can't remember offhand, I'll see if I can't find my Kirbans instal guide (where I got my VDOs)

I would like to be able to use both. How do you "T" off the connection so both will work.


I also got my VDO gauge from Kirban's. I didn't get an installation guide. If you have it can you fax it to me? 727-943-2103
