I'm rebuilding my engine and the 109 block is .040 over with combustion chambers in the ported iron heads cc-ing out at 44cc's for each cylinder I've got .040 over stock pistons.
1. I need to calculate what my compression ration will be using a stock gasket and----
2. If it's over 8 to 1, can I use the gasket for a 4.1 engine and if so what would the compression raion be.
I know somewhere there are calculations but don't know where.
Can anyone get me going in the right direction?
Is there a better ratio to shoot for?
My combo is
009, orange stripe, 3:73's, ported irons THDP, 210-205 cam with Stock turbo from old setup that I want to replace but don't know which turbot o buy. Maybe 6131R -bb. & 60's
Any help would be appreciated
Thx
