need help with alk kit

i got the gain knob and Initial knob up all the way and i still need more alk should i get Twin Nozzle Upgrade for Razor kit and were do i get it from i am gettting .9 knock on scantool need help

you have more than enough alky. a twin nozzle is needed when you are trapping 130+. sounds like you have an other issue. .9 aint sh#$. you shouldnt have to mess with the pac box

.9 is nothing.. put the Initail back to 12 o'clock.. and look at your fuel or false knock issues.
 
12 0'clock is like a 1/4 turn back ? when is the twin nozzle needed

12 o'clock is exactly middle position. Control rotates from 7-5.

Twin is needed car running faster than 10.90.. typically 10.50 or faster. With a 52 turbo.. your not going to get there.
 
i ran a 11.48 with a 3 pound launch mph was 118 .32 60' was 1.687 the car should be hi 10's with a good launch it would be safer to run more alk then 93 octane gas i think what do u think

Your MPH at 118 needs work. I dont think you'll get into the 10's with 118. Unless lifting from a 130 MPH pass.

You increase alky if you see real knock in high gear.Work on airfuel and get the MPH up. Meaning saying the car ran 118 doesnt mean much.. dont take it the wrong way.. mid 11's on pump gas in a Buick is a great place to be.

Look at 1/8 MPH and 1/4 MPH.. car should pickup 24-26 when dialed in.

So 93-94 in the 1/8 and 118 in the 1/4 is dialed in. At that point work on getting to 100 in the 1/8.

in the 1/8 i did 7.348 mph 95.13 so you don't think twin nozzle is needed on the car i just think it would be safer to have more alk. so just add more fuel i just don't want any knock.

Single should be fine for its performance level.

You have no mention of O2's or air fuel readings..

And.. car is only picking up 23 past the 1/8.. so it needs a little tuning work..
 
the scantool read 740 when i got the knock i just don't want this to happen again driverand pass side i hade the boost at 25 or 26 when this happen i got it at 23 now that is y i want to be safe i don't want that again i was tuning it my self then

if it is safer to have the twin kit i will get it i don't car about goig faster the car it fast now at 23lbs of boost i just want to be safe if i turn down the pump i will get less alk so if get the twin i can turn down the pump and get the same alk i am guessing or will the twin give me to much alk and i got both knobs up all the way now i don't like that thanks for all the help
 
If your scantool is dropping O2 levels.. then you answered your own question.. you need more fuel.

If the car leans out.. meaning O2 starts to drop hard.. no amount of alcohol will save you. The alky knob is not a "fuel" knob. So look to see why the O2's are dropping.. chip settings, fuel pump, regulator, clogged filter, etc etc etc.. and get more fuel into the motor.

Putting twin nozzles on a car thats leaning out mask's the leaning out problems and leads to more issues.

Now if your O2's are say 790-800.. and you see knock.. then it needs more alcohol volume.. meaning twin nozzle..

ok thank you i get it i will give more fuel in the hi gears. if i still get knock can i get twin nozzle for what i got or will i need a new kit
