Need Help With Gn Servo

I purchased a new GN servo cover and piston from Bruce to put in a friend's Monte SS . The new servo doesn't come with the steel intermediate piston that goes into the aluminum piston that goes into the cover. The one out of the SS is about an 1/8" smaller diameter. Do i need to get this piston also. With the super servo in my GN it says to discard the seal on this piston . I'm thinking with the bigger servo it's just there to take up space.

I can send you an inner piston or plug hole and use it as it is.

Bruce what hole are you talking about plugging? Will it make it shift to hard if i do that? Thanks Steve

Look at piston. There is a tiny hole. I may have already put a set screw in it. If hole is open, plug and use no piston. (inner) But you must take up the space with a spacer and shim.
