Hey people,
I've run into a minor inconvenience with my '92 Park Avenue Ultra.
The 2 nuts that hold the front motor mount (the one in front of the drivers seat, goes from the tranny to the subframe) have gone missing.
I noticed this the day before I had to drive from NYC to Nashville, and was a little annoyed, to say the least...
Usually I have to replace this motor mount every summer, but this year I didn't have to, and now I know why.
If someone can slip under their car, pop one off, and find out what size and thread pitch it is, it would be greatly appreciated. I believe that the same mount is used even on the N/A cars.
Since I've started this subject, has anyone else noticed a tendency of this perticular mount to tear apart? Has there ever been a cure for it? I know on a friend's '94 PA Ultra, there is a little shock/type thing attached to the motor mount, but he had to replace his at one point, too...
Thanks,
BC.
