Hi everyone:

I'm trying to order some body parts from Gmpartsdirect.com for my '85 Coupe and want to be sure I'm getting the right stuff.

Gm Part Numbers and description

20737658 W/STR ASM
20737659 W/STRP
20201220 W/STR
20201221 W/STR

What I'm looking to get is the weather door seals (fit around sides and bottom of the doors themselves) and the roof rail seals (across the roof and down the pillars)

Can someone help me out and tell me what those part numbers are. I called the local dealer and he says he can't look them up anymore.

TIA

All of your numbers are correct according to my info. The top 2 numbers refer to the roof rail weatherstripping and the bottom 2 are the door weatherstripping for the lower and sides of the doors. They cover both the left and right hand sides. Check with Dal at vandevere.com for excellent prices from GM.

Thanks ksmmspt and I will as GMpartsdirect does seem to be on the pricey side for NOS.

Really need to get me a GM Body manual. Would make ordering parts much easier.

I've collected numerous part numbers over the years from various sources and I have a body manual as well. Dal Slabaugh at vandevere-olds in Ohio will also give you prices on certain parts with or without part numbers. Shipping charges are actual shipping charges...not like gmpartsdirect where they charge a large handling charge.

BTW, the roof rail seals are pricey at over $130/side, but the fit is perfect. Been there, done that with aftermarket weatherstripping....don't waste your time. Get gm stuff while it's still available.
Just my $.02.

Scott:

Sorry for the late response, been out looking for a second car so I can really get into restoration of my Regal.

I thought GMpartsdirect was selling only GM NOS parts?

Greg

They do. But there are other companies (Postons and Kirban's) that offer aftermarket weatherstripping.

I would price your parts at gmpartsdirect and from dal. Make sure you get a shipping and handling estimate from gmpartsdirect. There is no handling charge from dal.
