I was planning on purchasing the atr 84 header,down/up pipe,crossover set for my 84 GN. I was also going to order the pitbull 3in exhaust system.Now,the question is if the down pipe is 2 1/2in. and the exhaust being 3in would the cat need to have a 2 1/2 inlet with a 3 in outlet ? Another question I had was what is a hot wire ? and would my car perform better with one? If so where can I get it? And the last question is an intercooler. I saw the special on the history channel and saw that they had put one in. Is installing one a good idea or not? the the car will be almost a daily driver. Im not planning on racing it but but would love to be able to humiliate some ford slowbras if I had to. If any body out there can help me with these problems please reply. And if anybody has a suggestion for a header, up/down pipe, cat, exhaust, and crossover combination feel free to let me know. Your input and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Sorry guys if I sound stupid for asking these questions, but I am new to this very complex but great car. And would love to be able to enjoy it just as much as you guys are
