I found a guy local that had a 200r4 built for his 455 buick. He told me he trade the car for a race car before the 200r4 was done. He said the transmission was built about 4 years ago but never used and built by a known shop in Atlanta that close down not that long ago. The transmission had been store in a good temp. and had b&m fluid on it to keep everything wet. The trans has billit Servo race clutch and steel plates hardened sun shell and input shaft high performance pump. He have all paper work that was done to it. What to know still I buy it or just spent the money and get the 4BQ rebuild.

For six bills, I'd buy it, put it in and run it. While saving up for a proper build on your trans. If the shop went tango uniform there is no telling what is in it.

He let me get it for 500. Everything look good so far. Going to try to put it in this weekend if I have time. The valve body, clutchs and graskets look good. Here is some pictures.

I'd use a small wire brush & remove as much of the loose rust as possible. And don't use a rag that will leave lint.
A magnetic Inline Filter insatlled on the return line after the Cooler is a good idea during Breakin, it'll catch the fine metal & rust particles etc..
