Hey guys, I was wondering what would be considered "normal wear" or "normal break-in material" on a transmission. In other words, what kind of things could I expect to find in the pan of a transmission (GN-200r4) after a proper break-in, light usage and possibly a few WOT passes? This is assuming the TV cable is set correctly, it has the proper fluid and level, an adequate cooler, etc.............
To my knowledge, (or should I say, from what I remember from my transmission class), black dust is clutch facings correct? What about copper, or *possibly* some aluminum like flakes? Would you expect the magnet in the pan to have a layer of blackish material on it? What is "normal" for a properly rebuilt 200??? Thanks as always, any input would be great.
