need PT54 rebuilt...who does it cheap and fast?

I've got a smokin PT54 that could use some help! Which vendor does a quick turn around at a reasonable price?

What should I expect to pay for this? There is no shaft play, but under boost she's laying down quite a smoke screen. I'd like to be at the track by the end of the month!

Call Precision- they did mine in about a week.

Then again, I'd give serious thought to a ball bearing setup......

You must have the magic touch. I like Precision's products but their customer service is less than desirable. I would fall out of my chair if they ever gave me a one week turn around and for that matter a two week turn around.

I got my TE 61 rebuilt and had it back within about two weeks. This was in the dead of the summer season........:biggrin:

The total amount was about 350.00 if I remember correctly. That included new bearings and compressor wheel....

Must be....I had the worst of possible situations. I had just bought the car from a board member, and was on the way home from Texas to SoCal when the turbo bit the big one in Barstow. I called Precision, and they not only repaired it, but the did it under warranty, and in a week!
