Need rods suggestions Anyone

Can anyone suggest any rods for a low ten sec gn. i know that the stock rods are capable of that but you see there is a problem, my friend just happend to have taken apart his motor and made the mistake of mixing up his caps on the rods. now i know that he cant just put the caps back on without knowing which one goes to wich so he decided to just get new rods. Now he dosent to pay a lot for aftermarket rods but just wants some that are just as strong as the stock ones. suggestions on what you guys use out there thanks.

If your friend doesn't want to spend a bunch of money, put some money into the rods you have. Take the rods you have to a competent machine shop and get them magnafluxed, shot peened, re-sized, smooth the beams etc. Should be much cheaper than new rods and you'll have a very nice rod set. If you need more rods to choose from, post in parts wanted. You'll have 100 guys wanting to sell stock rods to you cheap. All the 80s Buick V6s have the same rods.
