desperately need some help finding vacum leak..

Hey guys I need a little help finding a vacum leak. Because everytime I have my car on its louder then the leak/s and I cant hear where its coming from. Does anyone know how or what I could do to make it so you could have the car off and still some how hook up vacum or something to it and hear it that way.. Any suggestions would be great. Im looking for a leak because my EBC wont hold any boost.
Thanks you for any suggestion you make..

Chris

Well, you could hook a MityVac to the system, say through the MAP sensor. You may or may not hear the leak. I can tell you this; if you rub a vacuum line between your fingers and it leaves a very, very black residue, it's dryrotted and could go at anytime. Best get 20' of replacement line and just start replacing them. It's a cheap thing to do; plus you can drink while you do it and not really screw up.

vaccuum lines

John or anyone else,

do you know the vaccuum line sizes for the Turbobuick?? I would like to change all of them, but I don't they are all the same size??

Thanks for your time,

Ravi

Most of it is either 9/32" or 5/32". Just match the new with the old when you are replacing it.
