I plan and have already registered for the hot rod power tour. The problem is that my transmission is down and I am not 100% sure I will get it back in time. I have a turbo 350 laying around. what would it take to put it in the GN? I took it out of my regal but there is a 350ci Chevy motor in it. I don't know if it will fit in the gn or do I need some different parts.

You just seen my swap the other week on this at the farm. You'll need a chevy to BOP adapter to attach the chevy tranny to the motor, since it's not a BOP 350 case. You will need to swap out your crosmembers also. Driveshaft is the same. And just buy a 3 speed detent plate from GBody. And you will need the converter, the 200 converter will not work with the 350 tranny..... Finally took mine out for a ride today.

sweet you got to drive it. what do i need to make this work? you saying the bell housing wont line up? how long would it take to find parts and how much do they cost? It's crunch time and I am looking for a hail-marry.

oh, I think the adapter plate is the wrong one. You need the one for BOP engine to chevy pattern trans... Sorry, but it's the same price

If you're lucky check the tranny case. GM made the 350 with a dual pattern also and you might have one. If not you'll need the adapter

There are buick bolt pattern 350's it will physically bolt up, dont know the rest of what you'd need tho.
