educate me please

what is it going to cost me to have a 2004R built to withstand 10 second passes or better?

this will be behind a 355" SBC and twins in a 3200lb car

also can the 2004R be built strong enought to use one of those stage right trans brakes or no?

thanks

i did check out the site and do like it

i noticed the $1800 price tag...not tooooo bad for a built 200 that will withstand the hp.

i used to work for a trann shop and i know the labor involved

now for use with the BAT that adds $500 to the price right?

and then shipping

You wouldn't happen to know anyone in the chicago area that builds trannies like yours do you?

i remember some of my buick friends telling me that there was someone who guarranteed a 2004R up to like 800-900hp.....would you happen to know the name?

thanks

We have one of our employees based in Cincinnatti, Just for this purpose. If you decide to stay close to home , give him a shout.Lonnie Diers. He is VERY fluent with the Bat Brake and runs one himself. You can email him at quickv6@aol.com or he is "quickt" on the board, to chat and see if you feel comfortable, which I am sure you will be. If you elect to chat with me, no problem and I can be reached at 916-739-0510, 916-952-9567 or at prmnsgn@aol.com.

thanks a lot

the thing that i'm worried about is toasting the tranny and wasting $2000+

i mean i can have my old shop build me a TH400 with a brake for like $700

then i can get a gear vendors o/d unit for $2000

i knew of someone running this combo in a 4000lb convertable going 9.30s without breaking.

so it makes no sense to me to do the 200 when i could do the 400 with gearvendors o/d unit for the same money

so that is why i'm trying to keep the cost of the 200 at a minimum.

it'd be nice to have an automatic tranny with a brake that shifts automatically :)

kinda like having your cake and eating it too

later
