Need Vacuum Brake Help...Badly!

I installed the vacuum brake system on my car today because my accumulator went bad so I figured now would be a good time to convert and solve all my brake issues...Yeah right... I went to bleed the brakes and the rear bleeder screw on my driver side snapped off! It just broke right in half when I went to loosen it...and my passenger side won't budge so I've sprayed it with a ton of WD-40 to soak it so hopefully it won't break as well. I don't know what to do now though with the broken bleeder screw...I'm guessing I have to buy new rear brakes?? I'm ready to give up with this car...I've had so many issues lately...it's slowly trying to kill me, i swear...

If you replace the rear wheel cylinders with new ones they come with new bleeders and arean't all rusty and corroded of course.

Stock size or the S10 size if you want/need them in larger diameter pistons.

Any competent local mechanic should be able to install them and probably has done many, C - clip holder tool needed or something fabbed up to do the job yourself if you don't have one.

Parts are about $10-$13 each wheel.

You have to remove and then replace all the brake hardware, and of course the brake line to change them out and then bleed them again.

Usually you can limp the car to a mechanic with front brakes working if you drive safely.

I made it about 400 miles on just front brakes after blowing rear lines out on two different racing excursions.

WD-40 won't do it.
You need penetrating oil if they are that stuck.
If you go to change the cylinders, you will need some anyway to free the brake line flair nuts that are probably as stuck as the bleeder screws.

Good Luck and don't give up. Old cars need attention, yours just some more than you realized.
