You can test a coil with an ohmeter, and see if it's bad. But just because it passes the test, that doesn't mean it's good. Check each coil, and should be somewhere around 12k. If one is way high, or way low, that means the coil is bad. Casper's makes a tester which will test the coil/module combo, and let you simulate different rpms. Might want to shop around, see if you can borrow one. Have you checked plugs, plug wires, other possibilities?
