because you will get screwed and have no recourse to get your money back if its not in the form of Goods or Services

you have been warned..:eek::eek:

I didn't know you were supposed to get "gifts" back:confused:

They have to make money to operate, that is why the charge a fee. I wouldn't do it for free if I had to deal with any problems either...

Im just putting it out there since the new thing to avoid charges is for the "seller" to want to get paid as a gift,but that leaves the buyer with no leverage to get funds back easily..

Sticky
:wink:

that's why you only do that with people you know... Personal ie you know the person.. :biggrin:
This should be in the lounge not parts for sale section Just sayin:biggrin:

I got f#%k'd on a deal sending as a gift to help the poor bastard out...... People always say things such as deal with only people you know, but hindsight is 20/20 as you like to believe people are better thn they are.

I dont do the gift thing anymore either. I used to but Paypal came down on me about it. Now, I only do it if I know the person very well. I suppose it's a good policy that paypal offers that option and it's actually very generous on their part. It just cant get abused I suppose.

On a side note, it's really getting old that people are getting the shaft more and more on this site.:confused:

I think the solution is simple. Sellers on this board should just charge an additional 3% on top of the agreed upon price. Simple, ehh ?

Most do but on my account I checked and it's now at 3.118% for some reason. I was a seller on evilbay though so I'm sure that's why it's done this way.:mad:
