Has a center cap been identified that will fit these wheels? I have been looking at pics of different ones and have seen a few different styles. If I read correctly, I don't think that they are included with the wheels. I would hate to get the wheels and then have an issue finding center caps.

Their pictures on the press release appear to have centre caps. Looks like the GTA centre cap to me. Hopefully the wheels were designed for these caps to fit properly.

They don’t appear to have the proper back spacing for our cars.

Will different offsets be available?

According to the website the backset is 4 3/4 with 0 offset. I measured my GTA fronts and they have a 4 1/2 backset. I would think they would work.

Unless I'm reading something wrong? The website states +12 offset with a 5" backspace for all wheels. It appears they use a spacer in the front to compensate for the 0 offset. http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/gta-mesh-wheel-set-of-4-17-x-9-black-reproduction/
I'm thinking these will be some work to make fit? Possibly you may need spacers for all four corners? Looks like they are available now. Let us know if anyone tries these and what they had to do to make them fit.

They are actually 5 1/2 backspacing. I bought a set,and when I complained, Bruce at Hawk wheels sent me a 1 1/2" adapter. That made the backset 4". I'll post pics later.

NOW AVAILABLE New reproduction GTA mesh wheels for 1987-92 Firebird Trans Am GTA models but will fit any 1982-92 Camaro or Firebird application. These wheels measure 17" x 9" with a 5 x 4-3/4" bolt pattern. These wheels feature a black mesh center section with +12 offset and 5.5" backspacing. Included are the 2 front wheel spacers needed for proper fitment. Valve stems, lug nuts and center caps ARE NOT included and must be purchased separately.

Quoted directly from the website. We have some conflicting info somewhere. I'm seeing 5.5" backspacing and it looks like ( using the 16x8 for example) that lug nuts and lug nut caps are an extra $193. I wonder how much are the center caps?

How did those 17" GTA's work out? Was it too much of a hassle? What did you have to do, size tires adaptors, spacers and total cost of making them work? Do you have any pictures? I would like to purchase a set, but would like some advice before I do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks….
