I just got my new accumulator from Kirban. So is it as easy as it sounds to install? Just release the pressure from the old one, unscrew it, then screw the new one on?

Yep, it is that easy. Make sure you put a rag under the old one. Don't drip any on your paint.

New Accumulator is Pressurized

The New Accumulator has label on it saying it is Caution Pressurized to 300psi with fluid. Do I need to do something before I screw it on? Will the pressure leak out as I screw it on?

There's a valve in there, just screw it on.

Make sure you can get a wrench in there to tighten it up.

I had to cut down a nice 7/8" forged wrench to make it thinner to fit in there.

$1 at the flea market so I didn't mind so much.

Brakes Work

Thank You, "My Brakes now work". It was the accumulator. After knowing that there was a diaphram that hold the charge of nitrogen it gave me the confidence to install. Now I understand that the 300psi nitrogen charge is what pushes the fliuid once the pump fills the accumulator with fluid. So has long has you depressurize the Brake Fluid side of the diapham it is safe to install the new accumulator.
Thanks Again Guys for you help.
