When installing all new components (condenser, receiver drier, compressor, evaporator) what is the recommended amount of PAG 150 for each component to ensure proper lubricant. The compressor came with shipping oil and has been drained.

Between 6-8oz. I used 7oz.

Added 3oz. to compressor, 2 oz. to dryer, & 2oz. when adding the 134a.

That is not "shipping oil".
It's the correct charge that's to be run when installed.
We always confirm the amount via a drain into a measuring cup.
Once confirmed, we put it back in and add an oz or so to the dryer.

I measured 2 oz. into a measuring cup. I'll put it back in the compressor. Should I still add 2 oz. to the system when putting in the 134a ?
